Northern Ireland Tourism Awards 2004/05
Alan Clarke, NITB's Chief Executive described this year's entries as having attained a very high standard, making it difficult for the judges. "I am pleased to say that standards are rising every year with quality of product and service being the foremost requirement in all categories. To the winners and highly recommended I say 'well done!' It's thanks to the continued hard work of tourism business across Northern Ireland that last year was so successful.

Northern Ireland B&B/Guesthouse of the Year Presented to the premises which offers the highest quality and most appeal for tourists Winner: Albany Lodge Portrush "A pleasure to visit" is how the judge described this establishment saying it is an excellent example of good customer service, attention to detail and added value. The overall approach was found to be superb, with particular emphasis on hospitality and the standard of the breakfast, but the winning factor was the 'added value' - a complimentary bottle of wine, bottled water, flowers, chocolates and crisps all provided in the room made a wonderful impression on the judge.
